Support Team Lead - Windows Infrastructure
On behalf of my client who is a Global SI with a t/o in excess of $6bn and over 95,000 employees worldwide, GIOS Technology are looking tosupport them at a local level for a Support Team Lead - Windows Infrastructure.
Job Description
To assign and track tickets and change requests for service delivery. (1.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (2.) To monitor and track tickets/change requests and manage SLAs. (3.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations (4.) To work towards continuous improvement and perform root cause analysis on an ongoing basis.
Additional requirement
5-7 years relevant I/T Technical Experience in Microsoft Windows related Infrastructure
o Windows Server Operating System versions )
o Physical and Virtual server platforms
o Networking components, application installation, server OS configuration, group policy, testing and troubleshooting
3-5 years relevant I/T Systems Administration experience in Windows & Citrix related Infrastructure
o Experience with ESX and VCenter
o Experience with Storage Area Networks, Backup and Monitoring
o Windows Server Licensing, Active Directory Group Policy Objects, Windows Profiles (Local, Roaming, Mandatory), Windows Logon Scripts, Windows Registry, NTSF file system
o Must have Systems Administrator and troubleshooting experience with Windows Servers Operating Systems on physical and virtual Servers
3-5 years relevant Experience and working knowledge in the following
o Experience with ITIL, Remedy, CMDB, Change Control process
o Support server hardware, OS and core server application configurations, systems capacity planning, server maintenance, troubleshooting issues escalated from off shore team.
