Description

For our client in the petrol industry we are currently looking for ETL Developer specialized in Electronic (technical) Document Management.

Start date: September

Duration: 6 months (most likely extended)

Location: Feluy

Language: English and Dutch (German is a plus)

Our client is currently setting up a Centre of Excellence. The goal will be to have all expertise on EDM centralized. Currently Gedeon Opidis (Mclaren software) will be replaced by Meridian (Bluecielo) on all the different client sites. You will be responsible for extracting data from Legacy applications (Gedeon, Opidis, AQM, Meridian) and import them to Meridian.

AQM (Avanteam)

Meridian (Bluecielo)

Gedeon & Opidis (Mclaren software)

Tasks:

Data Extraction Meridian/Gedeon/AQM (the extration of OPIDIS is already done)

o All data necessary and sufficient for Meridian will be extracted from Gedeon (plan, reference, metadata, ...) or Meridian (in the special case of migration Meridian- Meridian) or AQM or other environment of the software, Oracle databases or MS SQL, flat files or Excel ...

o The extracted data is stored in a database that will either be Microsoft Access or Oracle

Analysis of the transformations to optimize performance

oA technical analysis including data transformations and data mapping will be performed.

oApply the necessary changes (code modification, labels, references, merging entries ...)

Based on the analysis an application will be developed to extract the data. A freeware ETL tool (Talend) can be used
