Sourcing Specialist- Construction and Engineering
My Client, A leading Engineering Services company based in Bristol are urgently seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist with experience of working within Construction for a minimum of 6 months with potential for extension and the possibility of a permanent role. This is a full time role working from Bristol, Monday- Friday, 37 hours per week.
The Category Sourcing Specialist is accountable for executing, implementing and managing performance of M&T-wide contracts in support of the overall category strategy covering c£200M GBP of annual pan-divisional spend in the FM Category.
- Engineering, science, Supply Chain Management or other relevant degree. Advanced degrees (MBA, Masters) preferred.
- MCIPS (Lv 5) or equivalent professional qualifications preferred
- Relevant experience in Sourcing & Procurement within construction sector (ideally JCT or NEC contracting)
- Construction trades/packages experience and used to working with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors
- Previous experience of managing Sub-Con agreements
- Will have led the end-to-end sourcing process for multi-million pound contracts within FM Category
- Previous experience of delivering successful sourcing projects in large, complex and decentralised corporate environments
- Track record of implementing contract performance measurement frameworks and implementing initiatives to improve post-award supplier performance
- Project Management and Stakeholder Management
- Willing to travel
- In direct sub contract experience of buying services.
- Group work alongside PM and Quantity Surveyors to help Major Projects team complete task.
