Description

We are looking for an Operations Systems Support Analyst to work at our multinational client in Rome/Italy.

Tasks

Assist in development and support activities utilizing LANDesk Service-Desk, the IT Division Service Management software tool.

Activities to include:

  • Automate processes based on provided models and workfows.
  • Develop and customize objects in LANDesk Service-Desk.
  • Develop SQL queries (based on Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Assist in user management and console administration
  • Participate in data integration activities through development of web services and other methods.
  • Assist in LDAP/AD integration
  • Configure and customize Crystal Reports.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Outputs:

  • Forms and other objects required for processes (incident management, request fulfillment, change management) developed and deployed.
  • Set of queries required for process KPIs developed and tested.
  • Users inserted in LANDesk Service-Desk as per requirements with appropriate roles and responsibilities
  • Crystal Reports developed and updated based on defined requirements.
  • Integration between LANDesk Service-Desk and other systems defined and implemented based on scope and requirements defined by IT Divison.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with system/application monitoring tools in globally distributed heterogeneous computing environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration and analysis. installing and supporting Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience with incident, problem and change management processes and LANDesk Service-Desk.
  • Experience with SQL, LDAP, Active Directory and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience in producing/maintaining technical documentation and procedures.
  • Excellent English (written and spoken) language skills with the ability to express complex technical matters.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a network/security operation centre environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Experience in supporting users in multi-cultural environment.
