Description
Our large direct client is looking for an IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract with possible extensions. The candidate should have work experience with a top consulting firm like Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte or PWC. The candidate needs good experience working in an SDLC environment, with a clear understanding of all the Project methodologies. PMI or PMP certification strongly preferred.Required:
- At least 8 years IT Project Management experience
- Experience managing enterprise wide projects in such areas as application development, infrastructure, business process re-engineering, and organizational change management
- Ability to work with technical team members to create, manage, and deliver projects
- Ability to interpret business requirements and coordinate with technical teams to deliver the project
- Ability to communicate technical impact to business team members and manage scope/requirements accordingly
- Experience project managing according to PMBOK
- PMI or PMP certification strongly preferred.

- Experience managing projects in a global organization across geographic regions/time zones
- Experience managing and/or working with vendors to successfully deliver projects
