Description
Our client, a Fortune 500 company with a strong technology focus, needs 2 senior systems analysts to play a leading role on a high visibility project. The role goes well beyond requirement analysis.
Expectations are candidates well be versed in Office, Visio, and other Microsoft Tools, including SQL for running queries.
They'll be expected to have:
Structured systems analysis and data analysis experience
Solid understanding of Relational DB concepts
Solid working experience in distributed & web based architectures/applications, and/or MF experience
Background/experience with information security concepts is a plus
Background/experience with tokenization/encryption, and other security solutions is a plus
Experience with Data Flow Diagraming concepts/techniques is a plus
Required:
- 7+ years of experience and demonstrated success including Business Analysis; Enterprise Analysis; System Design; Requirements Planning, Management, Communication; and Leadership. Candidates must have strong analysis skills and demonstrated success with visualization techniques including context diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc.
- 7+ years of related work experience designing/developing, programming, and/or supporting IT systems and applications. (Strong working knowledge of IT technologies, software applications, and programming languages.)
- Extensive experience in performing detailed analysis on the impact various projects could have on targeted systems. Understanding and experience with target architectures from a technical perspective and the impact of projects upon them.
- Expert knowledge on how proposed system changes may affect adjacent systems and data exchanges.
- Experienced in influencing others through a broad understanding of business processes, goals, and objectives. Extensive experience in recommending, gaining consensus on and implementing process changes that resolve complex business and/or technical issues.
- Demonstrated expertise in partnering with business customers and IT personnel to develop approaches, create processes/project improvements, estimate conversions, implement rollout schedules, track new application functionalities, and gather and monitor information on business outcomes.
- Extensive experience in the preparation of project pilots and reviews rollout, contingency, and rollback plans.
- Demonstrated success documenting business and technical requirements that are diverse in complexity and scope while leveraging industry accepted techniques.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, relationship-building experience.
