Our direct Fortune 500 client is in need of a Senior IT Quality Assurance Analyst.
The individual will do testing on our client's Policy Servicing platform. The work will be a combination of small projects and support work. The ideal candidate is a veteran tester with experience in both manual and automated testing. One should be comfortable with HP Testing Tools (QTP/ALM) and should have risk-based testing experience. Any experience with either FIT or the insurance industry would be a plus. The platform is extremely busy so someone who learns quickly and then functions independently is critical.
Required:
Required testing skills:
Ability to write a test approach/strategy.
Experience using automation tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP) are the preferred tools.
Defect reporting & analysis.
Ability to conduct test risk analysis.
Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services.
Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.
Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML.
Understanding of HTML.
Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client.

Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT).
Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing.
