Description
We are looking for several MS Windows Workstation Supporters to work at our multinational client in The Hague or Munich.
Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultant
- The main support activities are within the areas of first level and second level support and the provision of end user equipment and software including client patch management, software deployment and image preparation for PC's/laptops.
- Integration of new systems into the existing environment
- Support users and their workstations, telephones, mobile devices and other IT equipment;
- Document the current environment and changes to it
- Identify the cause of problems, document, and develop an immediate, short-term, and/or long-term solution
- Install, connect and move PC equipment;
- Manage user accounts;
- Provide the users with information on specific ICT products and solutions when necessary;
- Maintenance of the Team Foundation Servers )
Educational and experience
- University degree with minimum 12 years experience in IT and 8 years in MS Windows Workstation Support.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory and TFS.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Good knowledge of Exchange and Enterprise Vault
- Good knowledge of packaging solutions
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
General competencies and skills:
- Certifications in ITIL and Microsoft are an advantage
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of English language
