A key client of mine is seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to join the Transformation team as a Commissioning Planning Manager for Non-Acute Services for an organisation based in the West Midlands for a 3 month contract.The successful Commissioning Manager will take a lead role in the design and development of strategic projects delivering high quality care pathways that meet elective access standards.
Main responsibilities:
- To manage and develop the commissioning of service redesign across the CCG and neighbouring CCG - working closely with GPs.
- Support the implementation of pathway and service redesign which demonstrate measurable improvements;
- Review current Commissioning Processes ready for Contract Planning.
- Plan and organise broad range of complex activities; formulates, adjusts plans or strategies/formulate long-term strategic plans, involving uncertainty, may impact across the whole organisation;
- Develop a range of plans/long term strategic plans for performance and service
- Improvement in new areas across organisations.
The Commissioning Planning Manager:
- Experience of project management in the NHS, public, voluntary or private sector
- Experience of collaborative working across disciplines and organisational boundaries as well as working in partnership;
- Experience of budget management, of communication and stakeholder engagement
Desirable Commissioning Planning Manager will have experience working in Primary Care, NHS 111 and GP out of hours.
