System Test Manager - Redhill - £45,000 + BenefitsComputer Futures is seeking an experienced System Test Project Lead for a well-established company based around the Redhill area.
As a System Test Project Lead, you will have responsibility and accountability for all project management related activities within the test department. The Project Lead is expected to understand all deliverables of the project, and manage test personnel to ensure that all required timescales are met. In addition to this the Project Lead is responsible for producing accurate and up to date information relating to the progress of the test activates throughout the whole lifecycle of the project.
Responsibilities
- To manage and update plans with the relevant Project Engineers / Managers
- To maintain key performance indicators for the relevant Project(s).
- To provide input and/or conduct Performance Reviews as required
- To coordinate and oversee the work of all Testing activities for the relevant Project(s), collating results and reporting defects.
- To prepare test plans/ strategies
- To prepare detailed functional test specifications for both device and system tests
- To liaise with Engineering departments and customers with regard to testing of projects
- To conduct tests both in house and in the presence of the customer
Skills/Experience
- Degree / MSC OR relevant industry experience
- Minimum 5 years within a Product test or QA environment, where 2 Years has been leading a Team of Testers.
- Experience of each stage of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Effectiveness within previous role of ensuring software is released with a minimum of defects reaches the customer
