Mechanical Design Engineer
A 6 month contract mechanical design role has arisen within our client a leader in the Design and manufacture of controls and instrumentation systems for Aerospace and Defence.
The role will be involved in the concept design of large metal cabinets, units and housing for the containment of electronics hardware and controls and Instrumentation for submarines.
Siemens NX/Unigraphics into Teamcenter is used for documenting the design and experience of this is preferred but not essential.
Your previous skills
You would be ideal for this role if you are experienced in the design of large cabinets in any highly regulated industry. Although NX is the preferred design package this can be taught to the right person.
You must be able to create designs and modelling from concept and be eligible for UK SC clearance.
