WebSphere Application Server Architect urgently needed for a 4 month contract based in the North West. As well as strong Architect experience are client is also looking for WebSphere Application Server administration experience for this role.
Job Description
Architecture - Participating in architecture logical and physical design, mapping architectural principles and constraints onto the platform, producing and reviewing architecture documents.
Development - Troubleshooting code and testing, especially operational and performance testing; designing/tuning for non-functional constraints, especially security, accessibility, and performance; developing support tools; designing and implementing batch schedules; producing operational instructions.
Delivery - Designing, documenting and supporting the packaging, upgrade and deployment processes; designing and supporting commission tests, especially interface tests.
Operability - Designing logging and live monitoring strategies.
