Oracle Data IntegratorOracle Data Integrator Developer needed in 2 weeks to scope out a new ODI project in a large Insurance Institution. This multinational site are with a new ETL team being put into place.
Job Description: This mid-level role needs strong ETL(extract-transform-load) developer (Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience necessary) responsible for design, development, and delivery of data (both real-time and batch) from operational systems/flat files into a staging area, ODSs (operational data stores), Data Warehouse and downstream Data Marts. This senior ETL developer will implement quality logical and physical ETL designs that have been optimized to meet the operational performance requirements for our integrated reporting solution, implementing through the use of sound architecture, design, and development standards. He/she has the experience to design the optimal performance strategy, and manage the technical metadata across all ETL jobs.
* Develop and deploy ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback framework.
* Manage software upgrades, capacity planning and system optimization.
* Perform the unit testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing
* Adapt ETL code to accommodate changes in source data systems and new business requirements.
* Document the ETL detailed design and test results.
* Prioritize development and enhancement requests.
* Spearheads development of ETL code, metadata definitions and models, queries and reports, schedules, work processes and maintenance procedures.
Required Skills: Mid-Level * Experience in managing data lineage and performing impact analyses * Excellent software design and documentation skills * 3+years' experience with ODI 10g, 11g is preferred but will consider training an individual with Informatica 8 or 9 or OWB experience (at least 3+ years) * 4+years working with sources and target environments built upon either Oracle 9,10 or 11g * Bachelor Degree ? preferred * Willing to live and work in Ireland
