Patent, Patent Attorney, US Patent, USPTOI am currently looking for a patent attorney to work for a key client of mine. You will be required to have good knowledge of the US patent process and filing patent applications with the USPTO.

The client are a world leader in their industry and are working on a new electronic development which they are looking to patent on the US and UK markets.
You will need to assist with the patent application process for a brand new product which will be introduced to the market at the start of next year. You will need to have experience working in an electronics engineering discipline previously.
The main role will be:
- Taking an "Invention Disclosure Form" written by engineers & reviewing it
- Liaising with engineers to understand the idea
- Drafting the idea into a US Patent Application
- Reviewing the draft with the inventors and updating as necessary
- Filing the Patent Application with the USPTO
Experience:
- Experience of writing Patent Applications in an electronic engineering discipline essential
- Experience of the US Patent Process
- Experience of dealing with the USPTO, organising interviews with USPTO examiners etc
