IT Field Engineer & Trainer x4 - 6 Month Contract(Must be willing to come on as a permanent member of staff after 6 months)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading managed services companies based in York. They have developed their own product and due to huge popularity and growth they need to expand their team by a further four members of staff.
You will be part of a team of experienced engineers who look out for each other and are always open to offering fantastic advice and help when needed.
Rate: £140-£180p/d
Location: York
Length: 6 Months initially, then continue as a permanent member of staff.
Bonus: Company car, fuel card, laptop, mobile phone, Childcare vouchers.
Essential skills:
- Must have 3 years experience in a customer facing IT role or in an IT training role.
- Experience and knowledge in LANs and WANs(troubleshooting etc.)
- The ability to install, configure and troubleshoot SQL server/ISS server
- Experience installing applications into a customer's network infrastructure
- MUST HAVE excellent interpersonal skills and work well in terms of explaining complex technical specifications in the simplest way possible.
