Description
Oracle Infrastructure Architect required on a contract basis for a London based client.
The ideal candidate must come from large enterprise environments with hands on experience with Oracle and Exadata.
The ideal candidate will come from a varied infrastructure background ideally with experience in a range of the following:
* Datacentre, Server Infrastructure, Large scale Database systems, Middleware.
* Unix and Linux (preferably Solaris and Oracle Linux)
* Virtualisation technologies( VMware and Oracle VM including Solaris Zones, ESX)
* Enterprise Storage Solutions (SAN, NAS, File store).
* Database and Middleware (Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Exadata)
* Knowledge of data architecture design principles, standards, and strategies, including areas such as backup, archive and retention strategies.
* Knowledge of Enterprise Security Infrastructure (Antivirus, Patching, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Certificates, Secure file transfer, Active Directory)
* Experience of Data Centre migrations, technology re-platforming, technology upgrade projects
