Description

iOS Developer to join an award winning, ecommerce social network start-up. As iOS Developer you will build state of the art iOS apps using the latest cutting edge technologies. The iOS Developer role is for you if you have professional iOS development experience, having previously published an iOS app, with a desire to join a company where your ideas can thrive with quality career prospects.
Responsibilities:
*Lead the design and build of new and exciting iOS applications, working across the business to design and deliver features
*Ensure effective incorporation of 3rd party web services, including social media-based authentication, SOAP, REST and RPC
*Testing for robustness, such as usability, reliability and edge cases
*Improve apps' performance and work on bug fixes
*Ensure the continuous delivery of quality products by discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies
Required skills:
*Excellent experience in iOS development, with a track record of publishing one or more iOS apps
*Strong knowledge of mobile development process, including project creation, coding, QA and app store deployment
*4 years of experience with Objective C
*iOS 7.0 & 8.0 experience, as well as all core frameworks, UIKit and Cocoa Touch
*Understanding of iOS application architecture and design patterns
*Understand pragmatism and simplicity needed in code and strong knowledge of OOD
*Up to date with latest mobile trends and emerging technologies
Desired skills:
*Experience with external data sources and APIs
*Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Go and Ruby
*A passion for development and seeing your own ideas come to fruition
