Senior SunQuest Applications Analyst

This Sr. SUNQUEST Application Analyst will be responsible for all of the technical configuration, edits and integration testing with EMR and financial systems for requests provided to the Lab by over 250 users in the hospital community. Applications Analysts provide Application & Implementation Support, technology consultation, and operational support. They advocate for users' needs and coordinate support requests within IS&T.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and test new test builds
  • Interface new test builds to lab instrumentation
  • Write test plans/cases and perform integration testing between EMR and Financial Systems
  • Modify test builds to incorporate changes in reference ranges, methodology and instrumentation
  • Use and maintain SAM
  • Provide consulting and customer support to user community
  • Close all subsystems into the General Ledger and prepare month-end financial reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a hospital or lab setting
  • 2 years of experience with SunQuest
  • Experience with Crystal Reports or similar software preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills a must
