Operational Risk Reporting Management
One our large Investment Banking clients is looking for an experienced Operational Risk Reporting Management to join their team, you will have previous operational risk experience with strong reporting/MI as this role is Metric orientated
The role is based within Operational Risk Management in a small team which is redeveloping the usage of risk information (for example metrics) within the Operational Risk Framework.
This work covers a number of areas that include:
- Identifying appropriate metrics for use in ORM MI
- Liaison across teams to ensure MI is appropriate/relevant
- Continuous Maintaining the metrics to ensure new data capture and MI are complete and accurate
- Establishing approach around appropriate use of metrics
- Mapping of metrics into risk categories
- Maintaining the metrics
- Awareness of firm-wide Metrics initiatives
- Review and Oversight of Risk Thresholds
- Back testing of ORM Framework Set strategy for ORM MI
- Communicate requirements to Team
- Understanding and overseeing the implementation of changes to the OR Framework/approach
- Mgmt of metrics Reg deliverables/BOW
- Shaping and managing the change program around MI
Essential
- Operational Risk Exposure would be preferential (but not mandatory), but some Risk experience would be mandatory.
- reporting of information and development of MI.
- Some experience in the risk of metrics or risk indicators.
- Technical/Analytic skills
- Ability to work as part of the varied development team.
- Ability to deliver to deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and provide realistic eta's for deliverables
- Ability to understand technical issues and requirements and explain them to non-experts
- The ability to work with teams from other areas across the bank
