Description
We are currently looking for an Engineer for one of our defence and aerospace clients, The role will be developing test solutions and you will be joining a team in the creation of the test solutions for our clients customers. The computer controlled test solutions will be providing test and measurement capability in electrical, electronic, optronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic technology domains.You should have knowledge of electrical and electronic design techniques and the ability to write and develop software programs. An interest in technology and an appreciation of how things work is an important asset, as will be the ability to work safely with due consideration for others within the team. Knowledge and 2-3 years' experience in the use of test and measurement techniques and familiarity with development of automatic test programs or scripts would be an advantage.
The successful engineer will play the key part of the engineering team and will strive to make a difference. The position will involve design, development, testing and maintenance of test solutions produced by the business, and the job holder will be expected to manage their time between several different projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work in a team developing hardware and software solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
Design and development of electrical and electronic circuits and interfaces.
Development of test software programs and scripts.
Supporting project functions including proposal, planning, development, testing, maintenance and deployment.
Work with the new technology development to provide practical solutions.
Applying new technologies into existing solutions.
