Capital Focused Financial Planning Analyst, Canary Wharf, 6 months

Tier One Investment Bank is looking to appoint a Financial Planning Analyst with experience of Product Control and Capital to join the Group Finance team. You will be involved in Capital forecasting, monitoring adherence to regulatory rations and providing presentations and guidance to senior stakeholders within the business.

The role will involve:
*Producing weekly metrics monitoring the adherence to key targets
*Producing monthly and quarterly packs of information for meetings of Executive Board members and heads of key functions
*Ensuring organisational aspects around the meetings are covered off, including minute taking
*Carrying out analysis and preparing ad hoc reports/slides to support organisational decisions

All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
*Qualified Accountant
*Investment Banking, Consultancy or Financial Services Background
*Analytical Skills - someone who questions why, does it make sense
*Strong attention to detail - preparing high focus management reports that need to be accurate
*Ability to work under pressure, to very tight deadlines, whilst spinning multiple deliverables - time management
*Proactive - with a can do approach
*Good communication skills and a team player
*Strong character with the ability to get information from colleagues by a specific deadline chasing and escalating where not getting traction
*PowerPoint (advanced), Excel (skilled) and Sharepoint skills - PPT mainly
*No specific Capital or RWA experience is required, but a general understanding of Capital & RWA is beneficial.
