Description
You must have:1) Experience building WordPress CMS websites and custom themes from scratch.
2) Using popular WP plugins and using the WordPress API. Must be adept at customising plugin code if required.
3) Experience in PHP and MySQL.
4) Extensive knowledge of WooCommerce and using WordPress as an e-commerce CMS.
5) Minimum 1 year experience in building real products for the web with good grasp on emerging web technologies.
6) Good HTML/CSS/JS skills. Should be able to easily convert static HTML code to WordPress-ready PHP.
7) Understanding of responsive development techniques, and how to improve web performance.
8) Knowledge of WordPress SEO plugins and best practices for SEO.
9) Ability to understand business / design goals and translate them into clean code.
10) Knowledge of Server management , DNS management and MX Records.
Good to have:
1) Experience with Sass.
2) Knowledge of customising WordPress dashboards.
3) Knowledge of Javascript frameworks such as Angular.js
4) Knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
5) Basic working knowledge of Git (revision control) or Subversion.
6) Building and Automation Tools such as Grunt, Gulp, etc.
7) Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code.
