Service Virtualisation Developer/Architect (SV)
Service Virtualisation Developer/Architect (SV) required for a long-term engagement with our market leading client.
There are several levels of positions available covering Developer, Senior Developer, Architect and Senior Architect. Please apply if you would fit any of these roles. The description below is for the most senior position so not all responsibilities will be relevant to all seats.
- Require 5+ years' experience with Service Virtualisation
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of virtualisation tools preferably but not limited to IBM RIT (Green Hat).
- Consulting/Solution delivery background, preferably playing a diverse set of roles (eg Technical Consultant, Engineer, Architect)
- Experience in developing and implementing SV framework & governance across an Enterprise IT landscape.
- Expertise in Enterprise SOA implementations.
- Strong understanding of protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS/SOAP/JSON/MQ/TIBCO.
- Experience in SOAPUI tool would be an advantage.
- Development & testing with ESB/SOA technologies & thorough understanding of SOA principles.
- Extensive experience in Oracle SOA suite/WebLogic.
- Ability to configure proxies on WebLogic if required.
- Knowledge on MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues and channels.
- Experience in virtualizing stateful & stateless transactions.
- Understanding of Synchronous and asynchronous transaction & how to virtualize them. (eg: MQ Series etc.)
- Extensive experience in Testing and Test automation of Enterprise applications (Web, RestAPI, SOAP, Middleware and DB)
- Hands on experience for API testing using preferably but not limited to RIT.
- Provide technical expertise through a hands-on approach to teams and projects.
- Experience with configuration and administration on Windows and UNIX environments.
- Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills, test data management.
- Excellent communication, presentation & collaboration skills
