Validation Engineer
We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunication company, for a Validation Engineer to join their project in France.
Position Title: Validation Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: August 2015
Duration: 3 months rolling
Location: Paris

Responsibilities:
- Perform the integration phase before starting the VABF.
- Responsible of integration conformance regarding customer engineering rules (make sure LLD setting is applied during the integration phase).
- Support clients validation team during VABF phase.
- Perform all the tests needed to finalize the integration phase and reach the PER.
- Point of contact for R&D department in case of any analysis is needed when a problem is seen with the product (capture internal, perform specific tests).
- Prepare technical documentation to support the activities above.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Engineer or University degree in Computer, Electricity or Telecommunication (ESO, ESE, ENST, DEA or DESS Opto-électronic, etc.).
- At least 1 year of experience within Operator validation team.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent French and English speaking.
- Proactive, flexible and open-minded approach.
- Good experience in technical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Huawei SRAN solution is preferred
- Quick learner for new technology.
- Good knowledge of UMTS/GSM/LTE standard and protocol.
- Good knowledge of RF equipment (spectrum analyzer, noise and signal generator).
- Mobile probe (XCAL/QXDM, Huawei Genex tool).
