Cognos BI Developer/Architect
CONTRACT
450€ - 650€ a day
Belgium
3 or 6 Month duration
We are looking for Cognos BI Developer. This is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.
Responsibilities:
- Understands the Cognos product suite and recommends the best use of the functionality.
- In-depth experience with Cognos Report, Query and Analysis Studio.
- Cognos Connection Active Reports, Business Insight and Insight Advanced (new with Cognos 10)
- Experience developing Framework Manager Models, Multi-dimensional cubes.
- Good to have DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational) experience.
- Develops queries, reports, and end user applications to meet business requirements
- Identifies opportunities and implements procedures for continuous process
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles
- Knowledge of fundamental data modelling techniques
- Demonstrate a proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in interacting with lines of business and clients.
Key Skills
- Strong overall experience with various Business Intelligence tools
- Excellent knowledge of Cognos BI
- Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts.
- Understand Logical and Physical data modelling best practices and techniques
- Experience in developing slowly changing dimensions, error handling and performance tuning.
