Description
Monitoring Specialist - Nagios, Puppet, Powershell, Bash, Perl - required to join a leading Bank, overseeing and covering the entire organisation. You will be expected to understand, maintain and improve the current monitoring process, continuing to develop more efficient strategy to all key stake holders.
You will be solely responsible for monitoring the entire infrastructure of organisation, ensuring systems and business applications are sufficiently monitored. The successful candidate will be able to understand business requirements and their relationship to the technical systems being monitored.
The successful candidate will boast strong technical expertise in both Nagios and Puppet, alongside this you will have Scripting ability in Bash and Python, with Perl being beneficial. Knowledge of GIT or any other code repositories is also necessary, coupled with a firm understanding of Powershell and Linux. Financial Services experience would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
