whiskerDocs is the leading 24/7 veterinarian help service for pet parents with pet questions.

Want to help pets? We’re looking for a bright and ambitious Drupal Web Developer to join our growing company. You’ll be a part of a dynamic and fun environment and will work on a variety of interesting Drupal and open-source based projects. The position is a six (6) month contract, with potential for full-time position, open to anyone in the U.S., and is 100% telecommuting.

Responsibilities:
  • Application development, primarily web and cloud-based using Drupal / PHP
  • Database design and development
  • Some quality assurance and technical documentation


    • Requirements:
  • Loves Animals!
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-learner: can learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Telecommuting position: Must be disciplined to work in a self-directed environment
  • Knowledge in web application development: Drupal, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP
  • Experience with Drupal custom module development
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming
  • Relational Database knowledge: including database design and writing SQL queries
  • NoSQL Database experience a plus
