Product Manager - Reading - Up to £50,000 + BenefitsThey are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the Financial Risk department. The role of Product Manager (PM) is focused on defining the product roadmap for a set suite of products. The PM reports directly to the MD of Financial Risk.
The PM will work closely with the Financial Risk MD and sales team to ensure that the product pipeline is defined, prioritised and delivers to meet their business needs. Responsible for the delivery of key products and will ensure the product requirements and business goals are clearly documented and communicated to the development, customer service and operations and marketing teams.
The Product Manager must be able to build strong relationships with their customers, understanding the individual company's needs as well as an understanding of the market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain effective relationships with key clients to assist in understanding of the market.
Lead the commercial analysis to identify and define requirements for new projects/product enhancements.
Create documentation to support the new product / feature deliveries. Creation of project brief, Business cases, scope documents and requirements documentation.
Ensure the product roadmap is available, up to date and followed by all relevant parties.
Ensure the product development process is followed to deliver the product roadmap.
Have a full and detailed understanding of the product range and market requirements.
Work with the MD to ensure vertical alignment with FRISK development team to ensure optimal focus of effort.
Be the pivotal contact point for data and technical teams throughout the product development process.
Liaise with the sales and marketing teams to ensure effective communication of product developments.
Support the sales process from a technical perspective when required.
As a PM you will be an experienced, ambitious, proactive individual that is able to drive the product roadmaps and development delivery schedules forward for the products in financial risk. You must have a commercial awareness and be able to see the bigger picture as well as being able to dig into the technical detail.
You will need to be able to organise and run meetings have excellent stakeholder management skills and above all have the ability to get things done. You must have previous experience as a Product Manager and be educated to degree level. Experience in the property sector is desirable but not essential.
