Description
A Client of mine have an urgent requirement for x2 Commissioning Engineers to work on there clients site in Middlesex.
The contract will initially be for a 6 month period.
Purpose of the role;
* To ensure that all activities and equipment on the installation site meet all applicable company safety, health and environmental procedures and to drive the company's commitment to "everyone going home safe every day"
* To perform setting to work and site-commissioning activities
* to ensure work is completed to meet the projects programme
* Report to the site manager/commissioning manager
* Liaise with the project team to ensure commissioning activities meet the needs of the programme
Experience needed;
* PLC based control systems - typically Siemens S5/S7, Schneider/Modicon, Rockwell/AB - including the use of appropriate programming packages
* Electrical installation knowledge
* Electrical drive setting to work and configuration, including Microprocessor controlled drives
* Use electrical, network (ASi/ProfeBUS) and system test tools
* Working within an ISO 9001 environment
* Test supervision and result management
* Production of completion documentation for handover to client
