Security Network EngineerA leading Retail client based in Netherlands is looking for a Senior Network Security engineer to join their team. The global organisation has just heavily invested and is now rolling out a new security vendor.
Location: Amsterdam
Rate: 60€-65€ per hour.
Length of contract: 3 months rolling
Key Skills
• Experience with ITIL (Change, Incident and Problem Management) Processes
• Budget management & project management skills
• A deep understanding of: TCP/IP network services, BGP, MPLS, VOIP
• Packet capture analysis
• Networking Hardware including:
• Cisco 2960, 3750, and 4900 series switches
• Motorola 7500 series
• Network toolsets including or similar to:
• Riverbed
• NCM (Cisco Works)
• Infoblox
Network Security experience including
• Checkpoint R77
• Fortinet
• ASA
• VPN technologies
Familiar with
• Firewall virtualization techniques
• Datacenter design and implementation
• Network/Security design, root cause analysis and industry best practices.
• Application analysis, as it pertains to performance with network electronics.
• Execution and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects on time and on budget.
• Experience managing service providers and other vendors
• You are fluent in English, written and verbal; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
• Experience designing and supporting corporate systems in an enterprise environment.
• Experience working and leading project teams.
• Exceptional customer support skills.
• Must be clear, comprehensive, and concise working with the team through firefighting drills
• Experience of working in network environments with SAP.
