Oracle BI Team Leader - Business Intelligence - OBIEE - Oracle Ebusiness - Contract - 12 months - East Midlands

Real IT are looking for an experienced Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Team Leader to join a large, well known, national organisation for a 12 month contract position.

This role is based in the East Midlands and we are looking for an Experienced Oracle BI Team Leader to join the company for and exciting role covering new projects and BAU work starting on the 14th of September 2015.

The day rate for this contract will be £400 - £550 per day, subject to the individual's experience.

Day to Day Duties:

- Managing a small Oracle BI development team of 3, focusing on Oracle OBIEE and Ebsuiness suite
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Directly reporting into the Head of Business Intelligence
- Communicating with your team to ensure project deadline are on target.
- Focusing on instance and change management
- Providing solutions and managing small projects
- RT Service Management
- Logistics
- This is not a hands on development role however you will be expected to have previous technical knowledge and understanding of the Oracle BI tools, specifically OBIEE and Ebusiness suite, so that you are able to effectively communication with and manage your team

Essential Skills:

- Previous experience as an Oracle BI Team Leader
- Experience with managing a small OBIEE / Ebusiness suite development team
- Exposure to Logistics
- Technical understanding
- Technical knowledge and understanding of Oracle Business Intelligence tools - OBIEE and Ebusiness suite.
- ETL process knowledge is also advantageous
- Previous experience and confidence with liaising with stakeholders
- Change Management
- Instance Management
- RT Service Management
- Previous Project management experience is helpful, however please note you will not be expected to get involved with budgetry responsibilities
- Strong communication skills
- Proven leadership qualities and initiative to keep the Head of BI updated with project progression and potential issues.

All work will be done on site and you may be requested to go to some of the company's other sites (expenses paid).

Interview process:
This is a 2 stage interview process starting with a telephone conversation with the Head of BI, followed by a face to face interview on site with the client, to go through your experience, technical competencies and softer skills.
