OpenEdge/Progress 4GL Developer needed for a 6 month rolling contract in Northampton. Start ASAP ideally in August 2015.
Key skills, experience and responsibilities are as follows:
. Candidates must be able to demonstrate hands-on technical experience of Progress OpenEdge 4GL GUI, OpenEdge configuration and database development.
. Delivery of bespoke software solutions using Progress OpenEdge 4GL.
. Developments for our OpenAccounts Financials products (financial management, forecasting, budgeting, payroll and accounting solutions).
. Design/development of high-quality software solutions as per agreed customer requirements.
. Leading on selected software projects/work packages when required.
. Any additional experience of Progress OpenEdge database administration, SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, Unix and Windows would be advantageous.
