Function Description
Role & Responsibilities
- ICT Networking support for all local and EMEA wide users;
- Prepare, analyze (offers), follow-up on orders, guide implementations;
- Liaison role between our affiliates and world-wide support partner;
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings;
- Advise on improvements, new technologies, architectural changes;
- Make, update, verify on existing technical documentation. Report & present solutions;
- Make, update & ameliorate standard procedures & statements of work;
- Guard, enforce & report on standard procedures;
- Act as a high level support to helpdesk & NW engineers, tackle Level 3 issues;
- Scripting skills on voice & data.
Service Description
- The Managed service provider will implement in close cooperation with our Network partner network related IT request coming from local business;
- Intake of requests via the clients platform and act as interface between the requestor and Network partner to ensure timely and flawless implementation within budget of the requested services;
- During the intake, together with our network partner, analysing the requirements, work out a design and coordinate hardware and circuit ordering needed for successful implementation;
- Follow-up on delivery of the hardware and circuits, provide status feedback to the requestor and agree upon maintenance windows for implementation with the requestor;
- Coordinate with the network partner the required changes to happen within the agreed maintenance windows and will check afterwards successful implementation;
- Coordinate the above services within the managed service provider's team and report back on progress and issues.
Skills & Competences
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Network & Security Engineer;
- You have experience with the following: Firewalling/AlgoSec/DMZ components/VPN/IDS/IDP; Hardware: Cisco ASA;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
- Available as from the end of August.
