Job Description
Senior PHP Web Developer, to be part of a privately-backed well funded eCommerce Startup. My client operates a place for auction houses to sell online.The role will be to help develop the website and launch the business and continue to help the Company grow in a fast paced and exciting industry!!!
The role will be joining part of a small tech team. Working on all aspects of development, from system administration to significant web development working on an evolving auction based platform.
As part of a small agile team, you will find a chance to input into all aspects of the development process and quickly develop in a dynamic role where we're not afraid to try new things.
We're looking for a permanent member of staff to help grow the team and business. A competitive salary and immediate start, contract positions will be considered.
(Applicants must be based in the UK and hold the valid working permits required. Role will be permanently based in the office in Leatherhead, Surrey. No remote workers considered.)
Desired Skills & Experience
The more specific parts:
PHP/ZEND Web Developer.
LAMP Stack technology experience - Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP.
Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration.
Good database knowledge and SQL skills (on MySQL). MySQL replication.
A good understanding of general source control practices (structures, versioning, branching, tagging, merging). We use Subversion.
Experience with OOP/MVC/ORM programming techniques and PHP frameworks. We use Zend Framework 2 and Doctrine.
Experience with mySQL database, we use MongoDB.
