My client is currently seeking a number of BA's to assist with a major EPR implementation.Main duties and responsibilities :
An experienced Business Analyst with a sound understanding of change projects.
Ability to gather user requirements through a range of techniques which include interviews, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, scenarios, task and workflow analysis.
Knowledge of output based specification and ability to generate output based statement from user requirements
Understanding of document templates and how to assemble information in a consistent manner using templates
Ability to generate both business and clinical scenario statements for use against system demonstrations
Document current state and envisage future of working, map processes and identify areas where the process may be improved.
Understanding of benefits in a technology enabled change project and the ability to document them as part of a benefits realisation programme
Understanding of the basic operations that underpin healthcare clinical systems. If possible direct knowledge of one or more of the functions listed in the scope above.
Experience of working in a healthcare environment and/or within a complex environment such as a teaching or research establishment
Good communications skills and the ability to present information around clinical information systems to a non-technical audience
Ability to share and promote the Trust vision of the EPR strategy and the demands of new clinical system
Knowledge and experience of document management including version control and release, ideally working in conjunction with a Programme Management Office (PMO).
