Full Stack Java Developer JAVA, BACKBONE.JS, REST API'SMy client is a project platform for technology teams. It provides a suite of eight project-oriented applications built on a powerful foundation of core services that connect teams and their data.
As a senior full stack developer, you are going to be part of a talented agile development crew.
You are a strong Javascript developer, with knowledge of the major frameworks, and a well grounded Java (or Ruby) backend developer, with a good grasp on the most common stacks.
You have good understanding of object-orientation, SOLID principles and their practical application.
You have experience in building and structuring JavaScript single page applications applying design patterns either on your own homegrown MV* framework or using libraries like BackBoneJS or AngularJS.
You have concrete experience on concurrent programming, a good understanding of how REST apis work and you are comfortable working with a microservices based architecture.
You are skilled and always up-to-date in modern web technologies, you regularly apply TDD regardless of technology stacks.
You have a proven experience working with agile methodologies and using agile engineering practices.
Ideally you are active in the developer community either via your open source pet projects on your github account, your technical weblog or as a contributor to technical user groups.
As part of the frontend and backend guild you will be involved in the weekly training activities organized by the coordinators, and as a developer you will be entitled to use 20% of your time for a project sponsored by you!
LOCATION: Old Street, London
SALARY: £60k + PERMANENT
