Description

Environments Delivery Manager - Financial Services required to lead delivery of infrastructure in support of Global Standards initiatives.

Role:

  • Work closely with Senior Management to assure that project deliverables are consistent with organizational goals & objectives.
  • Monitor and report infrastructure delivery status, issues and risks.
  • Identifies & resolve changes in risk & scope.
  • Prioritizes and tracks issues, and creates remediation plans for resolution of impediments in priority order.
  • Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions.
  • Removes barriers.
  • Shields the team from external interferences.
  • Advises project team, customers and staff on solutions to issues & risks.
  • Communicates plans, status, issues & risks accurately & consistently to project stakeholders.
  • Identifies appropriate methods to report on large, complex infrastructure delivery requirements as distinct from smaller, less complex activities.
  • Maintains documentation in an appropriate project repository for easy access by stakeholders.
  • Displays consistent use of infrastructure and engagement methodologies.
  • Complies with the company's infrastructure standards.
  • Complies with Project Management standards & practices to assure consistent project execution.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology, MIS, or related field.
  • 7 years experience or more infrastructure project management experience.
  • 7 years experience or more in a full SDLC systems/software development organization or comparably complex technical area.
  • Financial Services IT experience
  • Advanced project/programme management skills
  • Strong mediation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, analysis, facilitation, and client relationship skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with employees and customers of all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Agile and SCRUM training is a plus.
