Senior Software Engineer/FME Developer
Location: Belfast
Duration: 3 - 6 months
EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria Recruitment Ltd (a Sopra Steria company) provides recruitment and resourcing solutions to Sopra Steria, a leading European IT service provider.
- Client has given the go-ahead for the Bulk Data Load development to start today.
- There will also a need to start work on Partial Data Loads imminently if we are to prove the process before the end of the year (crucial if Client are to select the LPIS editor for use next year).
Role Context, Responsibilities & Description of Skills
- Client have asked for us to deliver Bulk Data Loads by the end of December (estimated at 9.5 weeks work - 1 FME Developer).
- They also need us to test the process for partial uploads well in advance of the end of 2016.
- Partial Data Load development will need to be considered in paralel with the bulk data load effort.
Essential Skills
- Strong FME workbench skills are essential.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Client's data structures.
- Experience transforming Client's data using FME workbenches.
- Richard Ford has worked on previous Client's data loads and he is familiar with what we are planning to do for both Bulk and Partail data loads.
- If at all possible I would like to request him specifically. Richard is capable of doing this work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- FME workbench development and process development (proof of concept).
