Role: Senior Software Developer
Location: Carmarthen, Wales
Duration: 10+ Month Initially with possible extension
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Windows Application Development using Delphi 7 through to XE5.
- Database application development using Firebird/Interbase.
- Writing complex Data manipulation statements using T-SQL as stored procedures and functions.
The ideal candidate will have the following proven experience:-
- Proven experience developing software applications (particularly clinical applications) using Delphi 7 through to Delphi XE5.
- A thorough understanding of SQL using an enterprise relational database management system (for example Firebird)
- Experience writing clinical software applications.
- A knowledge of NHS processes particularly in a Hospital environment.
- A good understanding of Object Oriented Programming, unit testing and software design patterns
- Experience of version control systems such as Team Foundation Server.
- Full exposure to the software development life cycle preferably using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM
