Service Support Specialist - SP WiFi/PRIME

Flint is seeking a Service Support Specialist - SP WiFi/PRIME, for a project based in Cape Town South Africa. The Support Services specialist will provide onsite consultative to support for Prime product only to enable the client to resolve daily operations issues and provide troubleshooting assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Integrating PRIME with many of the clients' systems ie NMS and performance management systems

troubleshooting

Act as expert Single Point of Contact

Experience required

  • Cisco Prime
  • NMS/NOC support experience
  • Knowledge of SP Wi-Fi Service Manager for Cisco Prime
  • 3G Mobile/LTE integration with Gateway GPRS Support Node/Packet Data Serving Node (GGSN/PDSN) technology, including the Cisco ASR 5000 Evolved Packet Core (EPC)
  • Diameter/RADIUS Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) authentication
  • authentication services of mobile devices using SIM cards
  • Diameter Gx/Gy Policy and Charging Control (PCC) for 3GPP LTE architecture functionality

Key Activities

  • Define new service plans using customizable, policy-building blocks
  • Manage policy control and service catalog management
  • Apply policy rules based on the service plan, such as bandwidth speed, usage limits, number of logins, and more, on a per tier basis
  • Segment a service provider's subscriber base by offering differentiated services and pricing.
