Sourcing/Procurement Manager
On behalf of our Client we are looking for a Sourcing/Procurement Manager to manage all sourcing and purchasing of software development services. This is a medium sized, dynamic organisation so the ideal candidate will have experience working in similar environments and be used to working in a stand-alone position rather than as part of a large team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the selection of external sourcing partners utilising industry best practise.
- Manage the performance and service delivery of external sourcing partners.
- Operate an effective resource management process.
- Understand and manage the organisational changes required to support external sourcing
- Manage and identify organisational changes required to support effective external sourcing.
- Minimise internal overheads to ensure successful external sourcing arrangements.
- Stakeholder Management
Experience:
- Enterprise experience of establishing global sourcing models
- Commercial contract negotiations
- Managing global supplier selection
- Performance managing global sourcing engagements
- Contract negotiations
- Experience with Software development
- Financial Services experience
