Senior Javascript Full Stack Developer

Description

We are looking for senior level developer with solid experience working on production node.js applications and good all around back-end and front-end (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) development skills.

Experience with PostgreSQL and Ruby on Rails would also be great, but a love for what you do and an eagerness to learn would be even better.

You should have a passion for remarkable user experiences. We believe simple can be much harder than complex. You should strive to find the best and simplest solution, not the most obvious.

Responsibilities

Design and build new features for Tribe Social and our application platform

Work on bug fixes and improving application performance

Write well-crafted, high-quality, self-documented, and easy to maintain code

Work closely with our designers to create remarkable user-experiences for our clients

Work closely with our Client Services team to help support our customers

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

At least 5 to 7 years of experience developing software professionally

2 - 3 years experience writing production node.js applications

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Good understanding of MongoDB

Good understanding of relational databases and SQL

Experience with Amazon Web Services such as S3, EC2, etc…

Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as Redis and ElasticSearch

Experience with Git and Github
