Role Accountability'sLeadership
Leads, motivates and develops direct report to ensure they have capability to deliver a progressive portfolio strategy
Product Life Cycle
Reviews and understands the historical context of the product life cycles for the product portfolio to understand and reconcile the current product performance and develop future product strategy within a system perspective
Commercial Awareness
Understands the current and anticipated market dynamics for the product portfolio in collaboration with the sector team to identify and anticipate market opportunities and challenges
Experimentation and proposition development
Develops and iterates concepts and propositions in collaboration with the sector, innovation and communications teams and colleagues across the business to craft the optimal value proposition for the product portfolio
Strategic and tactical plans
Develops strategic plans for the portfolio, ensuring a link with the overall business objectives. Defines and delivers the annual tactical plans for the to realise defined commercial KPIs including pricing
Value proposition and total product offer development
Crafts the value proposition and narrative for the target product portfolios so as to confirm the benefits of choosing them and develop solutions to close the market gaps
Product portfolio project management
Tracks the performance of the product portfolio. Recommends changes to the tactical plan and challenges and initiates activity to maximise sales and boost profitability
New Product Development
Leads and contributes to the delivery of new product development projects to lead to the successful launch and embedding of the product into the portfolio

- Reports to: Head of Marketing
- Direct Reports: 3
- Indirect Reports: 0
- Budget: A&P budget responsibility

You will be degree qualified with either:
- Degree level (Marketing subject)
- Charted Institute of Marketing (qualified or studying towards full qualification) - desirable
Package
- Basic salary of up to £45,000
- Company car Audi A3/A4,
- Pension - Employee contribution up to 4% = Company will Match - Employee contribution 4% or over = Company will pay 6%
- Bonus - up to 12% per annum to be paid in March of the following year with the bonus year running from January - December
- Holidays - 33 per annum including public and bank holidays
