C# MVC Developer - Darlington - Around £300/day - Immediate start - 6 monthsMy client, a leading financial organisation, are looking for a C# MVC .Net Developer to work on a Web Developer project, primarily using MVC.
The role would require a .Net Web Developer to work across the entire application, but have a focus on more front end technologies.
These will include but are not limited to:
JavaScript - JQuery and some Angular/Knockout
HTML
CSS
CMS - Ideally Sitefinity, but this is not essential
On top of that, they still need ASP.Net MVC, C#, SQL Server with Entity Framework, and other key technologies.
The project will be working as part of an Agile team, pushing "proper" coding practices such as TDD and Unit Testing. Anyone joining the team will have to make sure they adhere to strict coding practices and work as part of the team.
The role will be creating a web portal that can be accessed by both internal staff and external customers, so an appreciation of the front end is key, but the functionality of the portal is paramount.
Based in Darlington, and with flexibility on hours worked, this role would appeal to the majority of developers.
3 month contract, paying around £300/day for the right candidate but is likely to extend on much further.
