Scala Developer - Agile/TDD/XP - Finance CONTRACT - London
We're looking for an Senior Agile Scala Developer to join an experienced multi-discipline team of engineers working on a high volume, large scale, Real Time, high profile financial systems.
The successful Scala Developer will have extensive experience building high volume, highly available, Real Time Back End systems using Scala and deploying to the Cloud using AWS. Experience on the Front End using Angular.js would also be a bonus.
You must have strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP) following TDD/BDD principals and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
Key Skills:
- Scala, Java
- API design, RESTful Web Services
- Large scale, high volume, high availability Real Time applications
- AWS Cloud deployments
- Agile (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP etc)
- TDD/BDD
- Strong communication, ability to work in a small fast paced team
- Mentoring or leadership would be a big bonus
