I have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to work for a reputable Insurance organisation based in London for an initial 6 month period.

Skills/Knowledge & Experience required:
* Broad commercial and strategic business knowledge. Reinsurance knowledge helpful.
* Knowledge of the cedants business models and understanding of risks facing their businesses.
* Thorough understanding of governance, risk management and control principles.
* Resilience, comfortable operating within and resolving conflict across senior stakeholders
* Personal impact and ability to influence senior management.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to drive results and succeed in adversity
* Ability to apply insight and challenge to senior teams
* Ability to clearly articulate approach and through appropriate networking, to secure full stakeholder support
* Strong facilitation skills
* Very strong analytical and presentation skills
* Leadership skills to motivate and inspire colleagues
* Professional accounting qualification or equivalent
* Degree or equivalent
* Experience of Financial Services gained in a management consulting or large corporate environment.
* Experience of risk identification and defining practical solutions.
* Exposure to key strategic issues
* Successful track record of achieving business results through effective plans and processes
* Strong risk management and audit background.
