I am looking to hire a Finance Manager-Healthcare in Aldershot with one of my public sector client.
This is a contract role for 3 months with possible extension.
Essential Experience:
- In depth and expert knowledge of the NHS finance regime, in particular financial and accounting procedures, financial aspects of NHS legislation and NHS finance policies including commissioning.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role.
- Expert knowledge of strategic financial planning and management.
- Expert knowledge in specialist areas of the NHS system reform agenda including the National Tariff Payment Systems (previously Payment by Results PbR).
- Highly Computer literate with advanced knowledge of complex spreadsheets and databases.
- Well developed analytical modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both finance and non-finance audience
- Able to deliver training to internal & external stakeholders
- Experience of leading and managing a team.
- Experience in providing senior finance support to healthcare transformation programmes and modelling changes in patient pathways and settings of care.
- Experience of negotiating with clinicians, other professional staff and senior executives
- Experience of supporting Business case development
