Oracle Hyperion Planning Consultant - Athens

Function
The consultant must be able to:
- Responsible for all aspects of Hyperion system including requirement gathering, application design, application configuration, implementation, documentation, unit testing, training, post implementation support and data conversion and migration. Ensuring configuration, developments, testing and trainings are according to high quality standard and in line with management expectations.
- Organize, prepare and present workshops (strong communication/presentation skills).
- Analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs and ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.
- Be subject matter expert analysing budget and forecast specific business processes and performs frequently new and varied work that involves a high degree of complexity.
- Responsible to achieve dedicated objectives and deliverables according to project plan.
- Tuning and optimization of Planning and Essbase applications.
- Provide expertise in Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase related to outlines, calculations, load rules, Web Forms, Smart View, Partitions, Security, and application validation.
- Determines own practices and procedures and may contribute to the development of new concepts.
- Work in adherence to the client company's policies while adapting to the business environment.
- Ensure knowledge transfer with CoE resources.
Requirements
Profile:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Finance Business Analyst/Functional Consultant in Hyperion Product Suite (11.1.2.x), Hyperion Planning (HP), Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Reports (HFR), Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM/FDMEE), Smartview and Financial Data
- Hyperion Planning-Essbase development and administration skills (security, performance tuning and training).
- Relational Database knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Knowledge of SAP ECC, BW/BO, BPC is considered an asset
- International implementation experience, in multi-country roll-outs, based on global template.
- University degree in (applied) Economics, Commercial Engineering, Information Technology or similar
- Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers, external, and internal customers.
- Proficient with MS Office applications.
Must have's:
- Oracle Hyperion Planning
- Oracle FDM or FDMEE
- Essbase
- Experience with SQL
- BI/BW (not essential but would be beneficial)
Languages:
- Fluent in English

End date: 6 month contract
Location: Athens with 20% travel to Brussels or Romania
