Infrastructure Solutions Architect - 8 Month Contract - Leeds

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen with a leading global firm in Leeds for an Infrastructure solutions architect to join their team on an initial 8 month contract. This role has came up due to a large demand in project delivery within the coming months in order to win more budget for future assignments.

You will be part of a medium sized technical projects and architecture team who will be at the heart of the businesses IT needs. This role will be perfect for anyone who still wants to have a technical hand on input, but who will also have expertise in the strategy side of things.

Rate: £400-£420 p/d DOE

Location: Leeds

Length: 8 Months intially

Essential Skills:

- Proven skills in solutioning and designing architectures across an IT Infrastructure stack(VMware, Storage, Devops etc.)

- Previous experience in delivering a high standard of work within a technical architecture role.

- Must have came from a technical infrastructure background, primarily working with Wintel technologies, but any experience with Linux OS is highly preferable.

- Any experience with Devops would be highly beneficial.

- TOGAF/PRINCE2 certifications also preferred.

This is a fantastic role for the right person and will open up many doors for the right person. Although the initial project that you will be working on is 8 months, but upon the successful delivery of this project there will be a further 12 months work, so this could be a long and very prosperous contract.
