Job Description
My market leading client in the Netherlands is looking for a new Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join their development division. The ideal candidate would be someone who wants to work with analysis, design, implementation and testing in an agile environment.
Required Skills and Experience for this Senior Software Engineer (Java) role:
*5+ years of Object Oriented Design and Programming experience
*5+ years of technology experience with large data oriented systems development or equivalent
*Solid knowledge of Java EE, Java SE and related technologies
*Hands on experience on high load and high traffic Service Oriented Architecture
*Hands on experience of Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns
*Hands on experience of web services (RESTful and SOAP)
*Experience in an iterative development environment
*Experience with continuous integration
*Experience with the Payment Service Provider industry
*Experience with PCI DSS
Desired experience (nice to haves) for this Senior Software Engineer (Java) role:
*Experience with software security, encryption and key management
*Hands-on unit test and debugging skills
*Hands-on development experience on high traffic, high load, highly scalable architecture/solution
*Proven experience with design of fault-tolerance and low-latency systems
*Demonstrable test driven development experience
